I was honoured when my bestfriend's favourite lecturer chose me as her make-up artiste for her Akad Nikah/ Solemnization ceremony & wedding reception. Madam Tengku Aisha is Alina's lecturer from Kulliyyah of Human Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia. She is a very nice, sweet lecturer who is popular as lecturer cum friend among her students. She tied the know with a lecturer from Kulliyyah of ICT from our university as well.

The reception was a warm and loving one since it was blessed with the love of all family members. I was moved when Madam's grandmother gave her words of advice so she will gain a life-long marriage in bliss. Madam Tengku Aisha is from the Kelantanese Royal family so immediately after Akad Nikah instead of the husband romantically kisses the Bride's forehead, he puts on his right palm on his wife's head which is actually if I am not mistaken is the Prophet's Sunnah especially on the first night of the wedded couple.

My opinion about the make-up, well well I am not quite sure how to put it, but I think she is the most radiant Bride I have ever did make-up on. She looks so adorable and 'berseri' in my personal view. I was also very contented when a fellow relative, she personally came to me, held my hand tightly and complimented my work and said "You really did a wonderful work on Aisha." Of course, enough said, I could not be happier ;)
